Wrexham’s academy scored 29 goals across six September victories in the EFL Youth Alliance League, PDL Cup and EFL Youth Alliance Cup, the club’s monthly review reports. The run included an 8-0 win over Salford City and a 7-0 victory over Morecambe.

Three competitions, six wins
In the Youth Alliance League, Wrexham beat Morecambe 7-0, Lincoln City 3-1 and Notts County 4-2. Craig Knight’s side then beat Mansfield Town 4-1 in the PDL Cup, followed by the Salford victory and a 3-2 Youth Alliance Cup win at Blackpool. The Preston defeat sits outside that run
The same review says Knight’s group ended the month with a 2-1 defeat at Preston North End in its opening Central League game.
