Men’s draw: top-flight clubs enter

The 44 first-round winners are joined by 16 Cymru Premier clubs and four clubs given byes: Newtown, Bala Town, Caerau Ely and Llanelli Town. That makes 64 clubs, split into 30 in the northern section and 34 in the southern section. Ties are scheduled for 16–17 October.

Women’s draw

The Bute Energy Welsh Cup second qualifying-round fixtures are scheduled for Sunday 18 October. The FAW says one northern club will receive a bye to round one. Its announcement gives conflicting club totals, so we are not reproducing a reconciled field size until that is clarified.

Correction and update, 23 September 2026

This page previously listed Friday 25 September at 6.30pm. The FAW’s current announcement specifies Tuesday 29 September at 8pm. We have corrected the date and time and removed the earlier women’s regional totals and Carmarthen Town allocation, which are not supported by the current announcement.
