Transport for Wales has moved its Pyle incident notice into the recent cleared disruptions section of its live updates page. At this check late on Thursday 15 October, the page says there are no ongoing disruptions. The operator has not published an exact reopening time in that notice. Passengers should still check live departures for an individual journey.

What the earlier warning said

Earlier on Thursday, TfW warned of cancellations across West Wales and delays of up to 60 minutes. It organised replacement buses between Bridgend, Swansea and Carmarthen and listed selected First Cymru bus alternatives. That wording remains in the cleared notice as a record of the earlier arrangements. It should not be treated as a fresh promise that replacement buses or ticket acceptance are still operating.

Before travelling

Check current departures and the operator’s ticket advice before setting out. The earlier end-of-day disruption forecast and the separate 7.30pm incident estimate were not confirmed reopening times. Update: this article now reflects TfW’s cleared status. Its original publication time is retained.
