Earlier disruption

The fault had prompted warnings of delays and cancellations on Tuesday 20 October, with Great Western Railway services also affected. TfW’s earlier notice forecast disruption until 9pm; that was an estimate, rather than a confirmed reopening time. Passengers should check the service they intend to use on TfW’s live map or journey planner. The clearance of this fault does not guarantee that every individual train is running to time.
