Clayton and Kenny also beaten

Jonny Clayton lost 6-1 to Damon Heta in Saturday’s last 32. The PDC’s day-two report says Heta averaged more than 103 in that match, but does not give Clayton’s average in its written account. Nick Kenny had gone out in Friday’s first round, losing 6-1 to Cameron Menzies. Price was therefore the only Welsh player to reach the last 16, with Clayton exiting one round earlier and Kenny at the opening stage.

Price beaten by the eventual winner

Zonneveld followed his win over Price by beating Wessel Nijman 6-5 in the quarter-final and Stephen Bunting 7-4 in the semi-final. He then defeated Danny Noppert 8-5 in the final to claim his first ranking title, the PDC reports. The Welsh results below use the official tournament record. Detailed averages, 180s, checkout percentages and high checkouts for the Welsh players were not supplied in that record or the written reports checked, so no values have been inferred.
